Tait Single Sign-On Help

What is Tait Single Sign-On and when does it start?
At Tait we have several applications and services that help you do business. In the past, you had to remember different user names and passwords for each application.
If you use any of these applications, from May 07 the Single Sign-On service will make your life easier. You will need to sign in once only and then be able to move seamlessly between a variety of services offered by the Tait family of websites, including TaitShop, Technical Resources, Product Issue Tracking, Systems Designer and Order History.
Why can I only log in to some applications and not others?
Permission is granted separately for each application, so it is possible you may only have access to some applications.
You can request access to a particular application by registering your interest within Single Sign-On at the registration page.
Why do I need to log in?
Aside from the usual security and privacy concerns, logging in with Tait Single Sign-On allows us to personalise your experience and offer you relevant content for your location. It also helps us direct your enquiries and technical problems to the right place efficiently, which lets us provide you with the service you deserve and expect from Tait.
What happens if I receive a message saying, "Login failed"?
This means the username or password you entered was incorrect or mistyped. As this service is new we have assigned new temporary passwords to all current customers. If you received your new login details by email, you can try to login again. Alternatively, you can request your new login details by following the link (get new login details) in the Login Failed area.
What if I have forgotten my password?
Each Application has a link to the "get new login details" page. You will be asked to identify yourself and submit this form. A new temporary password will be sent to you by email. You should change this password to a new password of your own choice on the "change password" page.
What browser settings do I need?
You will need JavaScript and Cookies enabled to view the applications and services provided. Systems Designer has some additional requirements that are outlined within that application.
